We had a lovely time at this hotel with stunning views and a great location. However, the room we stayed in needed serious updates and cleaning, especially considering the high price. The kitchen amenities were lacking, making it difficult to prepare basic meals. Additionally, we experienced some issues with other guests' dogs during our stay, which was quite an inconvenience.

I had a great time at this hotel which is located so close to the Royal Gorge, the largest Nordic ski area in North America. The views are stunning, and I loved the laid-back vibe of Donner Lake Village. There were a few hiccups with check-in, but overall, it was a solid experience. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, though I wish the check-in process was smoother.

I was really looking forward to our stay at Donner Lake Village, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. We had a special request for a downstairs room due to my husband's mobility issues, and despite confirming our needs multiple times, we were given a room that was not suitable. On a positive note, the location by the lake is stunning, and our room was spacious and clean. However, the lack of attention to our basic needs cast a shadow over our experience.
